Yesterday, when i’m still at work, my housemate called n tell me dat my other housemate had ran away. He went out jez like dat, without any warning or even a message. He’s gone. His room emptied, just a big bed that he couldn’t bring unless renting a lorry. Ever since he quit the job at Celcom, he just become someone that i barely know. I don’t know what he’s doing. He wakes up when everybody sleep. Once, i said something that could hurt his feeling. Don’t ask me “what” because it’s mean. That could probably one of the reason why he took off, silently. Do i feel bad? Somehow yeah…somehow i don’t. Even we’re not really close, but he still my friend. He may think that we didn’t care about him, but we do actually. That’s why we act with uneasy way. U may not like it but life in KL is not easy. If you’re not having a stable job, you’re doomed! I’m  still figure it out on how to spend wisely because i realise, living here is difficult. U may have a life here but is dat a life dat u want? Fortunately, today there’s one guy who wants to join us (ahhhh that solved our financial burden huh). I’m just hoping that he will turns out well. For our former housemate, i wish u good luck facing all the challanges. We know u can.

The effort of News Strait Times Press (NSTP) educating teenagers to read English newspaper is good. The idea is great by creating a advertisment on the media but the implementation is rather bad. Iklan ni dah lama keluar kat TV dan ramai budak-budak dah terikut-ikut dengan skrip dalam iklan tu..”Don’t Belok-belok”. Iklan dia macam ni. Adalah satu group budak sekolah menengah ni naik bas. Budak-budak nakal ni biasalah duduk belakang sekali. Typical Malaysian culture. Yang baik ni (bawak paper NSTP) duduk depan budak-budak nakal ni. Adalah scene yang budak nakal ni kacau-kacau budak baik ni. Then ada sorang minah saleh ni naik bas. Dia tanyalah kat budak2 nakal ni macam mana nak pergi tugu negara. Tapi sebab budak2 ni tak pandai English, budak ni cakapla English yang merapu. Paling orang ingat part don’t belok-belok tu la. Pastu budak baik ni tolonglah cakap kat minah salleh tu macam mana nak pergi ke tugu negara. Maka termalulah budak-budak nakal tu sambil tutup muka dengan paper NSTP tuh!!

Actually my point is, iklan tu bagi misleading message kat budak-budak even kat aku yang muda remaja ni! Hahaha..Meh aku senaraikan mesej yang aku dapat daripada advertisement tu:

1. Iklan tu menggalakkan budaya sindiran bagi menyedarkan orang lain. Lepas budak baik tu tolong minah salleh tu, dia cakapla (dengan muka poyo konon hebat sangatlah) dengan budak nakal tu, haa itulah aku suruh korang baca surat khabar Inggeris korang tak nak..(something like that). Nada/tone suara budak tu sangat irritating. Aku dengar pun berbulu.
2. Iklan tu menggalakkan keganasan. Dalam real-life, budak baik tu dah memang kene bantai ler sebab sound budak-budak tuh. Tak mungkinlah dia berani nak sound sebab awal-awal iklan tu, ada tunjuk macam kene buli.
3. Learning english is not just by reading newspaper. Oklah memang penting baca paper English untuk improve kita punya Inggeris tapi tak berkesan sangat. We have to speak it loud like having conversation with people around us. Paper can’t say anything. It just you and the words. It help in term of vocabulary.

I hate that advertisement…Piece of Crap……….

Last nite was awesome. Almost every staff/student in Cairo were going out together, lift up the night of KL city. It sound like we were having a big party but you know, it’s not haha. We just watching a movie at KLCC and the movie “Wanted” were our “main course”. 15 of us go out together and i’ve had to do numerous call to TGV to book a ticket since their website were having a maintainance and i can’t  book a ticket online. I’ve always want to watch this movie since i’ve watcthed the trailer for the first time. Who can resist to watch Angelina Jolie on the big screen (you know we talking about her lips) plus James McAvoy, the guy from the Atonement (Owhhh this guy is great) and Morgan Freeman (You can called him The Legend). After the movie finished, some of us were not really satisfied with it, but for me i think it’s a good movie. Yeah there are potholes here and there but the action is just amazing. They even broke the physic law that saying bullet can only move in a straight line hehehe. Am i recommened this movie? Yerp…absolutely. Go! N Watch it! Afterthat, we have a late night dinner at Pelita Nasi Kandar. I wasn’t really into on eating something and something just bothered me (Seriously, I don’t know why). Nway, thanks for those who were “participating” it. U guys RAWK!! So i guess afterthis…..Bowling?

“The Hot Stuff!!!”

1.Setiap hari Jumaat, pack segala barang anda dan bagitau kat roommate anda

nak balik kampung. Selepas sejam, balik ke bilik & terangkan bhw takde org

kat rumah. Unpack segala brg anda & pegi tidor.

2. Setiap kali roommate anda balik, jerit sekuat hati” horee…kau dah

balik”. Lepas tu menari dlm 5 minit. Lepas tu, tenung jam lama2 dan tanya

dia “Sepatutnya kau dah blah dah skrg”

3. Buat2 terjaga pd tengah malam, jerit kuat2 ” Tolong, kat mana aku berada

ni?” dan lari keliling bilik tu. Kalau bilik kecil, cukuplah sekadar

melompat 2-3 kali. Kemudian, sambung tidor. Esoknya, kalo dia tanya, pura2

tak tahu apa yg dia cakap.

4. Ambil marker, buat bulatan kecil kat lengan anda. Besarkan bulatan tu

setiap hari sambil berkata “Dah merebak… dah merebak!”

5. Beli pepokok bonsai. Bercakap & tidor dengan pokok tu setiap hari.

Selepas seminggu, bertengkar dgn pokok tu dan cakap “Aku tak boleh hidup

sebilik dengan kau lagi” sambil keluar & menghempaskan pintu bilik dgn

kuat…Buang pokok tu tapi biarkan pasu kat situ.

6. Beli pisau banyak-banyak. Tajamkan setiap malam sambil merenung roommate

anda sambil berkata “Tak lama lagi…tak lama lagi…”

7. Duduk didepan papan chess dua-tiga jam tanpa buat apa2 atau cakap apa2.

Lepas tu bangun secara tiba2 sambil berkata, “Siot betul, kalah lagi”

8. Setiap kali roommate balik, tutup lampu dan tidor. lepas dia keluar,

bangun dan menjerit dgn kuat “Horee…!”. bukak lampu semula.

9. Pakai topi kertas. Bila dia balik, cakap “Selamat Datang ke McDonald.

Boleh saya ambil pesanan anda…” Lepas tu buat muka bodoh, sambil berkata

“Eh, kau rupanya…”

10. Kata kat roommate “Ada pesanan penting untuk kau”. Lepas tu buat2

pengsan. Lepas 2-3 jam, bangun dan cakap yagn anda dah lupa pesanan tu.

Kemudian, cakap “Eh…aku dah ingat”. Lepas tu pengsan balik.

11. Bila roommate anda balik, berpura2 tengah telefon. Caci maki dan

menjerit dengan kuat kat telefon tu. Lepas tu letak telefon dan cakap kat

roommate bhw yg telefon tadi adalah mak dia. Cakap mak dia akan telefon

balik.

12. Kalau roommate suka gosok gigi kat sinki, perhatikan sampai habis.

Lepas dia habis, cakap dengan dia bhw anda kena ajar dia cara mengosok gigi

dengan betul.

13. Edarkan risalah ke kawasan kedai/rumah kedai berdekatan rumah/kampus.

Dalam risalah tu, nyatakan bahawa roommate anda hilang. Letak sekali gambar

dia dlm risalah tu. Tawarkan hadiah kepada sesiapa yg menjumpai roommate

anda.

14. Bila roommate anda tutup lampu pd sebelah malam, nyanyi lagu opera

sekuat hati. Bila dia buka balik lampu, buat2 muka bodoh dan confused.

15. Duduk & renung roommate dlm 2-3 jam. Kalau boleh, bawa member2 sekali

sambil makan kacang & popcorn. Buat macam tengah tengok wayang.

16. Masa roommate tiada, ambil deodoran dan sapukan pada seluruh dinding

bilik. Bila dia balik, puji bahawa bilik berbau wangi. Lakukan selalu

sampai deodoran tu habis.

17. Kalau roommate ada binatang peliharaan, spt kucing, offer utk beri

makan kpd binatang tsbt. Cepat2 keluarkan botol gam atau minyak rambut

sebelum dia beri persetujuan kpd kau.

18. Pegang & gosok-gosok rambut roommate anda sambil berkata “Rambut kau

hitam, lurus dan berkilat la…Macam teknik rebonding…”. Sekali-sekala

buat masa dia tengah tidur.

19. Mase roommate tido, bungkus dia macam kafan mayat (siap ikat), pastu

panggil member dlm 10 bace yasin ramai2. bile rumet jage pakat2 buat x nmpk

ape2.

20. Sebelum roommate balik dari kelas, bungkus diri sendiri macam kafan

(siap ikat jugak) pastu baring senyap-senyap atas katil dia. Mesti dia

terkujat sampai pengsan bila masuk bilik tengok2 ada mayat.

I made a post before, listing all my friend’s birthday but i still forgot to remember this important date! Duhh….Mintak maaf banyak-banyakla my friend. Ini memang kelemahan aku…nak ingat birthday orang dengan nombor telefon. Siapa Patem ni? Weehhh…ni la antara kawan aku yang paling coooool sekali. Aku kenal sejak tahun 2 masa kat UKM dulu. Kami satu team untuk makmal elektrik. Ingat lagi masa b’day aku tahun tu, patem ni bagi coklat. Ahaaa….tengkiu. We bond together mayb bcoz we share the same interest (hoiitt bukan Jensen ye hahaha). Masa aku dah ada internet, patem suka order citer-citer tv series dari aku macam one tree hill, prison break, dengan supernatural. Tapi dulu aku jual semua dvd-dvd tu tapi aku rasa tak patut pulak aku suruh patem beli..sorry..aku rasa bersalah sampai sekarang. Ada sekali tu, modem aku terbakar sebab kena panah petir. Modem tu ada warranty, so aku bolehla tukar dengan Jaring. Percuma je tapi masalahnya, aku baru tukar modem tu baru 2 minggu. So, sebab aku segan, aku suruh patem pergi kat Jaring dan tukarkan modem tu untuk aku..ahhaaa…this one i really appreciate it my friend! Ada sekali tu aku ajak patem gi the mines…itulah satu-satunya time aku “dating” dengan dia hahaha… Our last join venture was masa dinner fakulti kejuruteraan. Kami sama-sama buat untuk slide presentation dengan student information CD. Even patem jadi bidang terjun untuk CD tu, tapi your work really superb! Ur gifted lah (but why cikgu?????? hehehe). Patem ni memang terror bab design-design nieh. Photoshop tu kacang je untuk dia..Rite now, Patem kat Johor, pursuing her dream to become a teacher. Gosh…i miss her so much. Kalau ada masa turunlah KL sekali..All expense trip by me! Even though aku dah tak jadi supplier DVD kat dia, tapi we still talk about what we watched. Anyway my dear good friend, best of luck! I was looking in IMDB.com for the movie that had won in the Academy Award. Basically, this website will be my reference before I download (illegally of course) any movie so that I won’t waste any of my hard drive and especially my bandwidth. I’ve been always want to watch Schindler’s List, that won the Best Picture in 1993 but because they in black and white, it turned me off (totally). Many reviews said that this is the best picture ever and everyone should watch it. Owh, it’s directed by Steven Speilberg and it’s based on a true story about a man named Oskar Schindler. Basically, it’s a story about Oskar who saved 1100 of jews in the holocaust that happened in the World War II (WW2). At first, he wants to take an advantage of the jews by running up a factory. He took the jew as a labour because he knows that they are desperate to have a job. Do u know that in WW2, it is estimated around 6 million jews had been killed by the Nazi led by Adolf Hitler? Other groups were persecuted and killed by the regime, including the Roma; Soviets, particularly prisoners of war; Communists; ethnic Poles; other Slavic people; the disabled; gay men; and political and religious dissidents. It was the darkest moment in the human history where lives mean nothing to them. They killed whoever they want including the children. That is what the film was trying to potray. The execution is brutal. The famous one is the extermination camp where they killed the people by using toxic gas or The Gas Chamber. It’s a disturbing movie for me because it based on a true event. Some will say “Hey it jew! Why do u care so much???” but I see them as a human being. It’s cruel. The children, what had they done? Why they deserved to be killed? The current situation, Jew is acting like a new Nazi. They nothing different from the Nazi. Maybe it some kind of revenge for their ancestor? Their dignity had been ripped in the Holocaust event but look where are they now. Nayy….i’m not going much further about the idea of the jew, but what am I going to say, this is a good movie, no it’s a great movie. Maybe it’s kinda propaganda but just look at the difference side. If u have time, read the story about the holocaust. It’ll make u thinking.

I’m official being capped by Celcom! I’m supposed to get 3.6 Mbps for my D98 Celcom Broadband plan but I’ve exceeded 5GB policy hence they reduce my speed to 128Kbps. It’s absolutely ridiculous policy! Cuba imagine-lah, korang pakai kerete Jaguar tapi had kelajuan yang dibenarkan 110 Km/H, once korang dah melebihi had laju tu, kereta korang hanya boleh sampai 50 Km/H je (perhaps u could understand this analogy). So what is the purpose having a turbo engine with limitation? Apa guna pakai speed sampai 3.6 Mbps tapi kalau melebihi 5G data sebulan(I have a funny story with this 5Gig term), korang kurangkan speed tu? Lagi slow daripada 3G pulak tu?

This matter have been circulated for quite some time in the forum especially Lowyat.net. People keep complaining about the policy since most of the web sites now contain a lot of flash that consume a lot of bandwidth (that imply for the super heavy Celcom website too!! Stupid). So last night I called them just for the justification. The first Customer Service (CS) person gave me a convincing answer (Warning: Do not fall into their trap!)

1^ST Conversation, 17 June, 1030 PM

Me: “ Saya rasa speed saya dah kene capped. Saya dah pakai lebih 5G ke?”

CS1 :”Kalau tengok rekod, penggunaan encik dah melebihi 5 Gig”

Me:”Habis bile speed dia jadi normal balik?”

CS1:”Encik kene tunggu 24 jam. Lepas tu speed akan jadi normal balik”

Me:”Bukan 5G tu untuk sebulan ke?”

CS1:”Tak, untuk 24 jam je”

Me:”Ok”

~The guy that I talked with gave me a good answer but is it true?~

2^nd Conversation, 18 June, 830 am

Me: “ Saya rasa speed saya dah kene capped. Saya dah pakai lebih 5G ke?”

CS2:”Encik pakai pakej D98, Unlimited Package. Capped 5 G tu tak diapply untuk pakej encik ni”

Me:”Awak biar betul, malam tadi saya called CS awak cakap memang saya kene capped”

CS2:”Biar saya semak rekod encik dahulu. Encik tunggu sebentar ye”

~~He turned on somekind of music that really irritating. He left me about 5 minutes and I’m just like an idiot waiting for him to pick up my call back. Fool~~

3^rd Conversation, 18 June, 900am.

Read the conversation carefully. She made me laugh by giving me the stupidest answer of the century. Please, someone help her!!

Me: “ Saya rasa speed saya dah kene capped. Saya dah pakai lebih 5G ke?”

CS3:”Kalau encik dah pakai 5G, speed dia akan dikurangkan ke 3.6 Mpbs sebab encik pakai pelan D98.”

Me:”Mana pulak 3.6 Mbps, saya dapat speed constant 128kbps je”

CS3:”Begini, kalau kelajuan encik melebihi 5G, kami akan kurangkan kelajuan encik kepada 3.6 Mbps”

~ I’m smiling hearing what she just said. Disbelief. Oh God, I feel pity to her. There’s no such thing as 5G of speed????~

Me:”Ha kalau begitu, bile boleh saya dapat speed 5Gig tu balik?”

CS3:”Dalam masa sebulan”

Me:”Awak boleh check tak rekod penggunaan saya?”

CS3:”Tak boleh lah encik”

~Owh last night can-lah?? Haiyoo~

Me:”Ini macam mana ni. Sekejap kata lain. Tanya CS lain bagi jawapan lain pulak?? Petang semalam speed ok je?”

~U R going to hear the standard (or ecsape) answer if they don’t know how to handle the customer anymore (or getting trap by their own hole that they made~)

CS3:”Kami sebenarnya mengalami masalah teknikal sehingga 30 Jun. Selepas tarikh itu encik akan mendapat kelajuaan normal semula”

Me:”WTH, Bye”

2 weeks ago, I got news about one of my friends (gotta say a close friend) is going to married in a few months. Aku rasa terkejut bukan sebab ia secara tiba-tiba diberitahu, tapi sebab aku tahu perkara ni dari orang lain. It’s a big news and why do I have to know it from someone else (yang mana dia pun dapat tahu secara tak sengaja). I mean come on-lah, susah sangat ke nak SMS cakap pasal tu. Nak cakap habis kredit, awak tu bukan student lagi. Dah ada kerjaya dah pun. I’m not really shocked about his attitude (not telling me about that) because I know since forever, what he’s really like. But then when it comes to big news like this, it’s just unacceptable. Oklah, stop talking about the frustration. But it raised my concern, does wife @ spouse is forever? Bersama selamanya..I love you forever thingy? I don’t think like that because once (if it happened lah) u have a problem or even worst, divorce with your spouse, with who you are going to talk with? With whom you want to share your feeling or seek for an advice? Once u decides to abandon your friends to commit to your love one is just a destructive move. As a friend, we don’t have a real commitment towards the other friend. Itu sebab kalau hati tu terguris ke terkasar ke, sebagai kawan kita dapat terima seadanya. Lainla isteri or suami, the commitment is different. Sometime, even just having a girlfriend, kawan-kawan kat sekeliling dia lupakan. What is that suppose to mean? Eventually,someday, the friends that your abandoned yang akan tolong awak balik. Don’t u feel shame even just a little bit? U might not see it right now but u will….someday…perhaps…owh yeah..anyway congratulation for whoever who is going to get married..semoga berbahagia sehingga ke akhir hayat…

It mean Good Bye!! Too bad their practical training in Malaysia is officially over. Jeff and Emanuel is a student from Niece University, France (perhaps i’m rite ), just like Nico who are doing their final semester before they can get a degree. It’s been 3 months they’re here but i didn’t realized it since it feels like they just arrived here yesterday! Both of them are really cool. Jeff do a lot of talking rather than Emanuel. I guess it’s because the language barrier. We’ll know, France doesn’t speak English but fortunately for Jeff, he’s been living in US for God’s know how many years ;). While Emanuel is a lil bit shy and quiet person BUT lucky him, he found someone here! Gotcha! Sorry can’t reveal where i got this juicy gossip haha. A week before they flew back to France, they went to Bangkok with Nico. Unfortunately they got into fight with some bunch of stupid-uneducated people who want to steal their money. Jeff got a stiches on his forehead but Emanuel condition is just worse. He broke his arm and had to put a bandage. His fingers swollen and it’s really big. Huh..fortunately it wasn’t turned into green. Get well soon brother!

Perhaps they had a great time in here. I’m not going to say “See you guys again” because deep down we know, it’s a false hope. How many time u meet the person again after you say that words??? Zero! Good luck with your degree and let us know if u decide to come here again.

Aku betul-betul emotional bila dengar lagu chasing car daripada Snow Patrol. It some kinds of machine that rewind everything back in the past. I guess ramai yang tak tahu pasal kes aku bercinta (not to mention – even my best friend doesn’t know this!). So lagu tu ada kene mengena dengan saat cinta nak berkembang (Perrghh….ayat). It happened around August 2006 and it just likes a short term love period thing, because we ended the relationship around March 2007. Honestly, itulah cinta pertama aku. Aku memang betul-betul rasa dalam heaven. It seems everything was so sweet. Ia berjaya menenangkan fikiran aku sebab masa tu, aku tengah sibuk buat tesis. Pada birthday dia, aku nyanyikan satu lagu classic, When I Need You – Leo Sayer dan itulah pertama kalinya juga aku nyanyikan lagu untuk orang lain. Macam tak caye je aku citerkan semua ni buat tatapan umum! Haha..Sepanjang 8 bulan bersama, satu perkara yang aku sangat rindu bile aku terkenang balik kisah tu, ialah mendapat sms – Good Morning dari dia. Sampai sekarang I missed that moment. Tak taulah kenapa, tapi I think it’s so sweet. Kalau borak dalam telefon tuh, paling sekejap 1 jam lah. Kenapa putus? Aku bosan, dah macam takde spark dalam relationship tu. Aku yang mintak putus sebab aku rasa masing-masing dah macam terpaksa nak teruskan. Tersiksa juga tapi itulah sebaik-baik keputusan.Sampai sekarang aku masih terkenangkan dia. Aku masih single dan sampai hari ni, aku tak terbuka langsung nak bersama dengan sesape. Risau jugak tapi aku masih mencuba. First love is hard to forget..dan lagu tu, bolehla dikatakan lagu tema kami. That love will be part of my life forever, either I like it or not. I wish I can get rid of it but it just impossible.
